Monthly meeting

Our July meeting will take the form of a ride followed by a discussion.

We will meet at 19:30 on Mon 29th July at the Atherton Leisure Centre, to view the newly opened section of the Romford Road cycle track.

We will then head for a meeting at HereEast cycling via C16, probably arriving between 20:00 and 20:15. If weather is good we will meet al fresco, otherwise we will find somewhere indoors.

If you intend to join the ride, please register on the LCC website so you are covered by our insurance.

• Thames Water’s planned closure of the Greenway from 19th August for 18 months(!!) and their proposed diversion – Karen and I will have had a meeting with them earlier in the day, so can hopefully report the freshest news
• The newly opened section of Romford Road and any snagging issues
• The prolonged closure of the dockside at ExCeL, which we’ve had someone report issues with on the website
• The proposed Blackwall and Silvertown Tunnel tolls
• LIP plans – opportunities.
