Nature Reserves and Green Spaces of the Lower Lea (reprise)

17th July 2022 @ 10:00 - 15:00

As this was popular with participants in May we are repeating (with variations) the nature reserves of the Lower Lea Ride.

The Nature Reserves Ride is a leisurely, mostly off road tour nature reserves green spaces along the Lower Lea including the English Garden in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Middlesex Filter Beds, Walthamstow Wetlands, the Wetlands of the QEOP, the Cody Dock Reedbeds, Bow Ecology Park and East India Dock. Bring your binoculars as the ride is especially good for birdspotting!

It is predominantly off road with some stretches of quiet roads and is suitable for those who have started or are returning to cycling and wish to regain confidence. There are some short sections of towpath and unmetalled pathway. About 18 miles with plenty of opportunity to stop for coffee or light refreshment.

Numbers are limited to 15 and it can be modified to suit weather conditions.  To ensure a place it is necessary to book:
