Around Newham Ride

30th April 2022 @ 10:00 - 15:30

The Around Newham Ride is our annual examination of the borders of Newham using established cycle routes: Cycleway 16, the Roding Way South, National Cycle Route 13, the Thames Path and the Leaway.

It is a leisurely 20 miles or so , predominantly on quiet roads or off road paths with opportunities for refreshment stops in the second half of the ride. It will also visit Beckton Creek Nature Reserve which will not be included on next month’s nature reserves rides.

Please note that this ride is unusual for a Newham Ride in that it takes place on a Saturday and starts at a different venue from our usual. The start is at Woodgrange Market on the corner of Woodgrange and Sebert Roads, Forest Gate.

This ride is being put on by Newham Cyclists which is part of the London Cycling Campaign

Please do not turn up to this event if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19. The safety of our volunteers and participants is key to us.

We are unable to take unaccompanied minors. There will be a limit of 15 riders with those booked securing preference.

Booking is via Eventbrite:
