A reprise of last year's popular ride around the Poplar locations made famous by the TV series, based on true stories. This is a gentle ride, suitable for all abilities.  If you are a complete novice (sorry!) at riding on the road, please let us know ahead of time so that we can make sure we have enough marshal support. This has become a popular ride.  Well, cakes and bikes – what’s not to like?! Arrive at St Thomas’ at approximately 1:30pm where there’s a nice spot for picnic or the Horseshoe pub next door for lunch. Cakes from 2.30pm Mixture of off and on road riding with some steep hills. Canterbury to Ramsgate Ride

This was a new ride last year, led by Robin. Rated 3/5 Difficulty! 55km ride (map link) from Canterbury to Whitstable, and then clockwise around the Kent coast to Ramsgate. Substantial off-road sections, some with flint/gravel which might be uncomfortable on narrow high-pressure tyres. Whatever size, please make sure that your tyres are in good order, and consider bringing a spare tube.
