25 April 2022 Meeting

Our April monthly meeting will take place on 25 April at 7.30 via Zoom. This will give us a chance to discuss  the Climate Safe Streets Campaign, forthcoming events and recent infrastructure developments. Around Newham Ride

The Around Newham Ride is our annual examination of the borders of Newham using established cycle routes: Cycleway 16, the Roding Way South, National Cycle Route 13, the Thames Path and the Leaway. It is a leisurely 20 miles or so , predominantly on quiet roads or off road paths with opportunities for refreshment stops in the second half of the ride. Nature Reserves and Green Spaces of the Lower Lea

The Nature Reserves Ride is a leisurely, mostly off road tour nature reserves green spaces along the Lower Lea including the English Garden in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Middlesex Filter Beds, Walthamstow Wetlands, the Wetlands of the QEOP, the Cody Dock Reedbeds, Bow Ecology Park and East India Dock. Our May meeting will be an evening ride - as the weather looks like it will be suitable. The Discover Newham Ride is a leisurely, mostly off road discovery of some interesting places in ever changing Newham. This ride will take us back onto the Greenway which was not used in the last two rides.
